Movement, Missions, and the Master’s Call – September 2025

Dubai Mission Trip
October 10, 2025

“Go therefore and make disciples of all nations…” – Matthew 28:19

On September 1, we started the month with INTERFACE, a one-day seminar entitled “Growing Missional Churches for Today’s World.” The seminar was led by my brother Ryan Betancourt and his lovely wife Cherrybee.

During that session, the Lord reminded me that missions is the ministry of every believer. We have received the message of the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ, and now we are called to become messengers of that same Gospel to all nations.

I also learned that Christianity has always been a movement, not a religious organization. One illustration that struck me deeply was how the church could be likened to an airport terminal—a place that facilitates the sending of God’s people to their destinations, living a life on mission with Him. The church is not the end; it’s the launching point for every believer’s calling. What a powerful revelation that was!

The church must move in order to grow, not remain stagnant in one place. And true enough, from the first day of September to its end, I witnessed the movement of God—His stirring for missions, His call for obedience, and His preparation for my own mission trip to Dubai.

🔹 A Martyr’s Fire and the Seed of Revival

A few days later, on September 10, news broke about the assassination of Charlie Kirk—a man I consider a modern-day Stephen, martyred for standing up for God’s uncompromising truth.

His death ignited a fire in my heart. Charlie was a brother in the faith, bold in preaching Jesus even to those who disagreed with him. I was moved to tears—not out of sorrow, but out of conviction and inspiration.

The Lord led me to John 12:23–26, where Jesus said:

“Unless a kernel of wheat falls to the ground and dies, it remains only a single seed. But if it dies, it produces many seeds.”

Charlie’s death will not be in vain. His blood, like that of the martyrs before him, will serve as a seed for revival in the Church—not just in America, but across the world.

Palawud: Into the Deep

This month also marked our second Palawud Night of Deep Prayer and Worship. We spent the evening soaking in God’s presence, and the joy of the Lord filled our hearts.

It was a time of refreshing and deep communion where God reminded us that victory is sure in Him, no matter what battles we face. You can watch a short clip from that night here: Palawud Night Clip

The Birth of IMPACT

September was also the birth month of IMPACT — International Missions Platform for Aspiring Christian Artists and Talents.

I am deeply blessed to have met Carlo and Jeptah Moquisa, a young couple who share the same heart for the youth and for creating music that glorifies Jesus. They caught the vision immediately, and after many confirmations from the Lord, we chose to obey.

We dream big — a big vision, a big mission, and a huge impact! But more than that, we want to build this platform on the right foundation — a foundation that glorifies Jesus and Jesus alone.

Then, by divine appointment, I met Sir Vir Silva, a man of God—humble, faceless, and nameless in the eyes of men, yet known in heaven. He has served the Kingdom quietly but mightily. Our meeting with him was an answered prayer.

Through his guidance, the Lord taught us about submission, spiritual covering, and consecration. Before we could move forward, God needed to establish our hearts in these truths.

We realized that in order to build something lasting, we must first be submitted to divine authority. Now, we are learning to move with divine precision and heaven’s order—preparing for a greater IMPACT.

✈️My First International Mission Trip

Towards the end of the month, I embarked on my first international mission trip—to the United Arab Emirates (UAE). But before I even left, I faced a test.

At the airport, I was held for one hour and thirty minutes by immigration officers because it was my first time traveling abroad. Yet during that waiting, God reminded me that access does not always mean approval.

The only thing that got me through was the ministerial certification signed by my senior pastor, Rev. Mark Albarracin, and district overseer, Rev. Danilo Torres. Their spiritual covering was my key. That simple document became my ticket of divine approval.

I learned this powerful truth:

“You may have access through invitations, but you won’t have approval without submission.”

And true enough, when I finally stepped into the UAE, I knew I was sent — not just by man, but by God.

Streams of Blessing in the Desert

In the UAE, I preached in three different churches:

  • Dubai – “Kingdom Alignment” (Matthew 6:33)
  • Fujairah – “Transformed by the Gospel” (Romans 12:1–2)
  • Ras Al-Khaimah – “The Good Shepherd” (John 10:10)

Each message was birthed through prayer and revelation from the Holy Spirit. And each one was received with joy and gladness. Truly, when a word in season is spoken, it is good indeed (Proverbs 15:23).

I thank God for my brother Jover Solicito, my destiny partner and man of peace, who became the bridge for this mission. I am also deeply honored to be adopted as one of the spiritual sons of Pastora Hermenegilda Santos Itallo, now my “Mommy Hermie.”

Through the Jesus Stream of Blessings Church International, I found not only a family in Christ but also a glimpse of the Father’s global movement.

🔥The Burnt Offering

As my mission trip came to a close on September 30, the Lord spoke to me about burnt offerings. He told me that all the love gifts and monetary blessings I received from the churches were to be offered back to Him — a complete offering.

It was one of the hardest acts of obedience I’ve ever done. My heart ached as I gave it all back, but the Lord reminded me through Psalm 51:16–17:

“You do not delight in sacrifice, or I would bring it… My sacrifice, O God, is a broken spirit; a broken and contrite heart You will not despise.”

And then I remembered Jesus, the ultimate burnt offering.

“Here I am, I have come to do Your will, O God.” – Hebrews 10:7

If Christ gave Himself fully for me, then everything I have belongs to Him.

As I sat on the plane, tears filled my eyes. My heart was breaking, yet filled with peace. Then the Lord spoke through John 15:15, which was exactly the time of my flight:

“I no longer call you servants, because a servant does not know his master’s business. Instead, I have called you friends.”

And in that quiet moment above the clouds, I wept — not because of what I lost, but because of what I gained.

To be called His friend is the greatest reward.

Thank You, Jesus — my Lord, my Savior, my Friend.
All glory belongs to You.
