Divine Connections & A Mission-Filled Month June – July 2025
What an unforgettable month! From July 14–21, we witnessed a beautiful move of God as 22 young missionaries—15 of them from ASEAN countries (Indonesia, Laos, Myanmar, South Korea) and the rest from Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao—joined a Mission Exposure Tour through Mission Motivators.

Hospitality & Revival in Dumaguete
It wasn’t easy finding a host church and accommodation—but God made a way through Pastor AJ Tecson of Lighthouse Christian Community in Dumaguete. Their doors opened wide, both physically and spiritually, as their leaders not only welcomed the team but also cooked, hosted, and created opportunities for evangelism in the community.

The students conducted:
Evangelism and healing prayer
Children’s feeding programs
Gospel clowning
Mission awareness seminars for youth
And on a Thursday, thanks to my youth pastor from 2010, Pastor Andrew Scribner of Christ the Foundation, the students ministered at their church, reaching more children with the Gospel.

A God-Orchestrated Shift
We originally planned to partner with the Negros Oriental Provincial Government and Negros Oriental High School for campus ministry and accommodations. But a divine redirection led us instead to churches, homes, and communities hungry for revival. And what a redirection it was—God’s plan was so much better.
Cultural Night & Heaven on Earth
Despite bad weather forecasts, God held the rain for our Cultural Night at Bahay Kalapihan.
Missionaries sang in different languages and shared testimonies of God’s goodness—each one powerful, heartfelt, and Spirit-filled.

“…a vast crowd, too great to count, from every nation and tribe and people and language, standing in front of the throne…”

The Lord Provides
On Sunday, our home church WIN Downtown Dumaguete hosted a potluck dinner. But I personally didn’t have the funds to buy food. I cried out to God, knowing it was my joy to bridge this mission. And in an unexpected turn, the mission team blessed me with a love gift—which I immediately poured back by buying 12 boxes of pizza for the dinner.
“Lord, glorify Your name in this.”
And He did. His name was glorified through every bite, every smile, and every testimony shared that night.

“Nets Breaking”
In prayer, I saw a vision of “nets breaking”—and was led to Luke 5:3–8, where Jesus tells Simon to let down the nets for a catch:
“…they caught such a large number of fish that their nets began to break…” (Luke 5:6)
And then He said:
“From now on you will catch men.” (Luke 5:10)
This is our call. The Great Commission is already given:
“Go and make disciples of all nations…” (Matthew 28:18–20)
Let us obey. Let us throw our nets at His word. The harvest is ready, the fish are many—but only with His command will our nets break.
A New Life Begins
We’re thrilled to share that… we are pregnant!
We didn’t expect it this year, but God’s timing is always perfect. He’s teaching us new things as husband and wife—and now, soon, as father and mother. We believe this child is both a physical blessing and a spiritual sign of what we’re also birthing in the Spirit.
Special thanks to Pastor James and Florence Gonzales who gifted us our honeymoon night in Bacolod. We were also blessed to minister at WIN Sum-Ag Bacolod, enjoy great food, exclusive tours, and most importantly—build covenant partnerships in mission.
